CDC-4 CD Changer Installation Instructions (I No. 692)

Notes:

The vehicle specified above comes with a CD Changer preparation (I No. 689) consisting of:

-

optical waveguide connection point (at the front panel in the luggage compartment) and

-

power supply line (at the front panel in the middle or right of the luggage compartment behind the trim panel)

as standard. This means that retrofitting can be performed without any great expense.

Before ordering parts, always check and consider the existing vehicle equipment. The appropriate optical waveguide must also be ordered for the
"CDC-4 CD Changer" set.

The optical waveguide depends on:

-

Equipment variant [e.g. BOSE sound system (I No. 680), PCM2 Navigation (I No. 670), PCM2 Navigation Off road (I No. 672)]

For vehicles with brake booster lining, the plastic luggage compartment trim panel (997.551.133.00,02A) can also be retrofitted upon request.
