Coolant pan on transmission jack

4. After draining the coolant, screw in and tighten drain plugs with new sealing rings.

Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)

Coolant hoses at the underbody - draining additional coolant

1. Loosen large coolant hoses -1-.

Pull off safety clips -2- on the Henn couplings.

Coolant supply hose for engine

Open the spring band clamps -3- on the heater hoses -4-.

Coolant return pipe to radiator and heater lines

Check Henn coupling O-rings and replace them if necessary.

Clean plug connection and coolant hoses before assembly.

Coat O-rings and coolant hoses with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).

Remove stoppers before fitting the coolant lines and hoses.

2. Place a pan underneath and pull off the hose connections.

Refit the coolant hoses after draining the coolant. Check the safety clips.
