Draining engine oil

Warning
Danger due to oil draining out and spraying when the engine is hot.

Allow engine to cool down.

Wear specified protective gear.

Before pulling out the telescopic filler tube, always place a clean cloth over the drive belt and generator to absorb any drops of engine oil.

1. Place a clean cloth -1- over the generator and drive belt and pull the telescopic filler tube -2- out as far as it will go.

Open the cover -1- on the oil filler tube by turning it anti-clockwise.
