Concern: 

The front inner fender liner can cause rattle noises while driving.

General Information: 

As of September 5, 1995, production, from the following VIN's, a foam strip has been installed on the front inner fender liner to prevent noises from
occurring in this area.

Repair Information: 

The foam strip can be installed on 911 Carrera (993) and 911 Turbo (993) produced before the above-mentioned VIN's.

Clean the area where the foam strip is to be installed and affix the foam strip part number, 951 201 147 05 on the inner fender liner where the liner
contacts the floor pan (arrow in figure).
