911 Turbo as of Model Year 1996

General Information: 
A new type of adhesive and applicator are to be used whenever replacement of the front or rear windshields becomes necessary.

000 721 958 60 (Special Tool 9586)

Repair Procedure: 
As outlined in the workshop manual:

If a removed windshield is not damaged, the sealing surface can be cleaned, and the windshield reinstalled.

The special Tool 9586 has been delivered to all dealerships as a minimum requirement tool.

The former adhesive set, Part Number 999 915 509 40, is still available and should be used when replacing the rear spoiler. Any remaining adhesive can
be used again at a later date by leaving the mixing nozzle, part number 000 043 203 50 on the adhesive cartridge. To use the adhesive again, a new
mixing nozzle is required.
