Fuel Return Line: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Fuel Return Line

Removal

1. Remove engine-transmission unit.
2. Remove coolant expansion tank.

Undo the hexagon nut.

-

Disconnect electrical plug connection from the sensor for coolant-level indicator.

-

Pull coolant expansion tank out of the guide rails and remove.

3. Open line holder.

4. Disconnect line plug connection on the vehicle floor. In order to do this, press button and at the same pull the wires apart. Collect residual fuel.

Protect the open lines against dirt.
