6. Loosen reservoir. To do so, loosen two fastening screws (M8) on the reservoir -arrows- and one screw M6 (reservoir to holder) -arrow-. The screw

on the holder may be fitted from the right or left side.

7. Release reservoir from the hydraulic pump and pull it out. Soak up (collect) the remaining fluid with a lint-free cloth.

Installing reservoir (Tiptronic and manual transmission)

Caution: 
In manual transmission vehicles there is a risk of the clutch lines fracturing (due to vibration) if they are not fixed by the clip (on the
reservoir).

Make sure that the clip and the pressure lines in the clip sit perfectly.

-> Emerging Pentosin can ignite through contact with the hot exhaust system.

1. Press the new reservoir with new O-ring (coat lightly with Pentosin) into the hydraulic pump (power-steering pump).
2. Fit fastening screws. Tightening torque M8 = 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)/M6 = 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).
3. Clip hose onto reservoir holder (rear of reservoir).
4. Fit return line(s).

5. For manual transmission vehicles, fit the clutch pressure lines -1- (tightening torque M10 x 1 = 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)/M12 x 1 = 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)) and

push into clip -2-. Ensure perfect seating.

Subsequent work (Tiptronic and manual transmission)

1. Install -pressure pipe (Y-pipe)-.

To do so, fit the hose clamps -3 and 5- and the hexagon-head bolts -1 and 2-. Push on pressure sensor connector -4-. Install the connecting hoses
