1980-82 Porsche 924 Turbo Vehicles
Installation of Breather Hose Kit
Dear Porsche Owner:
We are writing to inform you that we would like to modify the turbocharger breather of your Porsche 924 Turbo vehicle in order to update the system
and bring it into conformity with the manufacturer's latest specifications.
We have found that in the regular course of maintenance or repair of your Porsche, the original routing of the turbocharger breather hose could have
been changed inadvertently by your mechanic. If this occurred, condense water could accumulate and restrict the system's venting. A prolonged
impairment of the venting system may eventually lead to turbocharger bearing damage.
We request that you contact your authorized Porsche dealer for an appointment in order to modify the turbocharger breather system of your vehicle. The
required work will, of course, be free of charge to you.
Sincerely,
VOLKSWAGEN of AMERICA, INC.
