-Remove old return line.
-Install new return line
Note:
Check the installed position on steering gear (see drawing).
-Torque hollow union bolt to 30 N-m or 21.6 ft.lbs.
Note:
Do not use wire straps on the return line!
-Reinstall clamp with wire harness.
-Reinstall reservoir.
-Fill reservoir with hydraulic fluid and bleed steering (Shop Manual Volume 4, Group 48, pages 48-87).
-Check steering for leaks.
-Conversion Time: 120 TU
-Part Number for new return line: 928.347.449.06
