When checking or adjusting idle speed and CO on 928S vehicles for the Model Years of 1985 and 1986 (EZF/LH) and 928 S4 (EZK/LH), the engine air
filter must be installed. Failure to comply results in incorrect readings and maladjustments.

Refer to Workshop Manual 928 Volume I Pages 24-201 to 24-207 for checking and adjusting idle speed and CO.

928 S4 (EZK/LH) idle speed and CO is not adjustable.
