Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Suspension
1.
Remove the three spring strut locknuts in luggage compartment.
2.
Raise vehicle and support.
3.
Remove wheel.

Remove front nut from pivot pin of lower control arm, Fig. 7. Counterlock and counter hold the rear nut with a separate M14 x 1.5 nut.
5.
Remove stabilizer bar link at control arm.
6.
Position strut assembly in vise and install a suitable spring compressor.
