Rear Suspension

Fig. 1 Hub carrier & axle shaft

1.

Raise and support vehicle.

2.

Remove axle shaft with stub axle, Fig. 1.

3.

Remove brake caliper.

4.

Remove brake disc retaining screws and disc.

5.

Remove parking brake shoes and spreader lever.

6.

Remove parking brake cable from guide in hub assembly.

7.

Remove hub assembly.

8.

Remove lower diagonal control arm after removing eccentric bolts and stabilizer bar link bolt, Fig. 1.

9.

Reverse procedure to install. Check axle alignment.
