Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
OXYGEN SENSOR REPLACEMENT
When replacing oxygen sensor, always use the following precautions:

Be sure threads are free of damage, burrs, and carbon deposits.

Be careful not to damage pigtail wires when removing or installing sensor.

Be sure threads are coated with high temperature anti-seize compound (carefully coat threads so as not to contaminate inside sensor surfaces.

Install and tighten to specified torque (49-57Nm / 36-43ft.lbs.).
^
Make sure harness connection is clean and tight.
