Slide U-profile with the elongated holes onto the studs of the left Speedster cover section, in the direction as shown by arrow A (Figure 3). Secure
the U-profile with M6 cap nuts and torque to 3.5 Nm (2.5 ft.lb).

Install the base plates for the roll bar onto the studs on the front part of the left and right Speedster cover sections, in the direction of arrow B
(Figure 3). Secure with cap nuts and M6.4 washer and torque to 3.5 Nm (2.5 ft.lb). Glue the 50 X 50 mm foil onto the roll bar in the area where
the base plate will make contact.

The left and right pivot locks are marked with L and R (Figure 3). Install the pivot locks on their respective cover section halves. Line up as shown
in figure 3, arrow C, and secure. Install 14 mm dia. foil on the outside of the Speedster cover (Figure 3, pos. 1) for door window contact
protection.

Note: 

Washers can be installed under the rack pivot lock for height adjustment of the Speedster cover.

Install a 6.0 mm dia. foil at 3 positions on each cover half section (Figure 3, pos.2).

2. Speedster Cover Installation

2.1

Open top completely. The convertible top compartment cover must be completely closed and the convertible top indicator lamp must be out.

2.2

Install left Speedster cover half.

2.3

Remove the red deactivating clip from the U-profile and install in slot for the top securing hook (Figure 4) above the inside rear view mirror.
