If the removed rain sensor is reinstalled, the surfaces must be free of adhesive residues. Do not use harsh cleaning agents. Stick the adhesive pad
onto the rain sensor at a temperature of approx. 20 degrees C.

Open circuit in the rain sensor connection (emergency intermittent-wipe operation)

NOTE:  The rain sensor control module independently detects a faulty rain sensor. Fixed intervals are allocated to six sensitivity stages (wiping interval
stages) as a remedial measure.
