VIN List

Use the VIN range previously shown as a general guideline. The VIN can be checked in the Porsche e-DCS/WWS for confirmation of an open recall
campaign. Also, the VIN can be checked via the VRU (Voice Response System) for any open listing.

Work Procedure: Attachment "B"

Install washers on both clamps on the exhaust system bracket.

Lift vehicle with platform lift according to instructions in --> Workshop Manual '401000 Lifting the vehicle'.

Parts of the exhaust system become extremely hot!

Permanent scarring of the skin

--> Do not begin work until the exhaust system has cooled down completely.

--> If it is imperative that you work on the hot exhaust system, ensure that you wear fire-resistant and heat-resistant protective gear.

Install two washers on the left clamp on the exhaust system bracket.

Unscrew hexagon-head bolt (--> Figure 1-Item A-) on the left clamp.
