1. Ignition off.
2. Replace control unit.

INFORMATION:  Once a new KESSY/PAS control unit has been installed, the ignition can no longer be switched on. In order for the Tester to
be able to identify the new control unit, the warning indicator light must remain switched on during the teaching procedure. This will activate
CAN.

3. Insert ignition key and switch on hazard warning light switch.
4. Select vehicle type.
5. Switch to the list of control units and press >>.
6. Select PAS using the cursor keys and press >>.
7. Switch to the Teaching functions menu and select Teach control unit. Then press >> to continue.
8. Enter the Teach Enable Code TEC from IPAS and press >>. Then press F7 to confirm your entry.
9. Enter vehicle identification number and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.

10. Enter the ELV Secret Key from IPAS and press >>. Then press F7 to confirm your entry.
11. Enter immobiliser code from IPAS and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
12. Enter the Transponder password and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
13. Enter the Transponder Secret Key and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
14. The Tester displays the message: Control unit taught, Teach keys. Switch to the menu Teach keys >>.
15. Enter the Teach Enable Code TEC from IPAS and press >>. Then press F7 to confirm your entry.
16. Enter the Number of keys and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
17. Enter the Transponder password and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
18. Enter the Transponder Secret Key and press >>. Then confirm your entry by pressing F7.
19. The Tester displays the following prompt: Insert key 1 >>, Insert key 2 >>, etc. until the relevant number of keys is reached.
20. Observe Tester information regarding Synchronisation of keys, insert key and press the Lock button on the key for at least 5 seconds when

instructed to do so by the Tester.

21. Wait 5 seconds before switching on the ignition. Switch on the ignition, read out the fault memory of all control units, and erase them if necessary.
22. << returns you to the vehicle type. You can then select the special functions on the control unit side and carry out a vehicle handover.
23. Then read out the fault memory again, and erase the fault memory for each faulty control unit.
24. Start the engine with each of the keys one after the other.

INFORMATION:

In order to guarantee the function of the control unit after teaching, the coding value in the old control unit must be read out or determined
again. This value must be written into the new control unit after teaching.

If the control unit cannot be read out again, it must be coded according to the vehicle equipment after the control unit has been replaced
manually. PAS menu - Coding.

25. In the menu PAS Coding, select the coding requested by the customer and then press F8 to start coding.
26. The Kessy/PAS has now been taught. Check the remote controls on the vehicle for correct function.
