Concern: 
Replace KESSY/PAS control unit.

Information: 
This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Service Action on certain 2005 model year Boxster (987) and Boxster S (987) vehicles. There is the
possibility that depending on the ambient temperature, the range of the radio remote control can be extremely limited.

To remedy the situation, replace the KESSY/PAS control unit.

Affected Vehicles: 
A total of 26 U.S. and Canadian vehicles fall within the scope of this Service Action.

particular vehicle is eligible for this service action. Alternatively, the VIN can be checked in the Porsche e-DCS/WWS for confirmation of an open
service action.
