Preliminary work
1. Remove wheel.

WARNING:
Danger of accident if brake pads of the wrong quality are installed.

This can result in longer braking distances and more wear.

Use only the type-specific brake pads in the Porsche Spare Parts Catalogue.
The core of the warning contact line must not be left exposed! Worn insulation is not significant!
If necessary, remove a little brake fluid from the expansion tank by suction to prevent overflow when the disc brake pad is pushed back!
1. Remove fastening screw at retainer pin. Next screw the M8 auxiliary screw into the retaining pin. Hold down expanding springs with a -
screwdriver and remove retaining pin.
2. Remove warning contact line from brake caliper and expanding spring. Remove warning contacts from the brake disc pads.
