Removing hydro-tappets 

Note: Observe the most important working regulations and warning notes.

Note:

The roller-type cam followers are joined to the hydro-tappets (support elements) with a safety clip.

The safety clip must be handled carefully!

If the hydro-tappets are to be reused, they must be marked according to installation position with a water-resistant felt-tip pen and stored in such a
way that they cannot be mixed up!

If the hydro-tappets are to be reused, they must be reinstalled in the same position!

Roller-type cam followers must be set aside in such a way that they cannot be mixed up.

1. Take the roller-type cam followers with the support elements out of the cylinder head. The roller-type cam followers must be completely removed

carefully.
