Removing and Installing Silencer

Removing And Installing Silencer

Preliminary work

1. Remove left front wheel.
2. Remove left front wheel housing liner.
3. Remove left underbody cover.

Removing silencer

WARNING:
Danger of burns on muffler

Components of the exhaust system can be extremely hot.

-

Allow the parts to cool down first and wear protective gloves.

1. Unscrew both fastening screws -arrow 1-.

2. Undo the fastening screw -arrow 2- and take out the muffler with the clamp downwards -arrow-.

Installing silencer

1. Connect the muffler to the exhaust pipe -arrow-.
