NOTE:  The cable plug for the crankshaft pulse sender is secured in a difficult-to-reach position at the guide tube for the oil dip stick.

2. Press the cable plug for the crankshaft pulse sender at the guide tube for the oil dip stick towards the cylinder block (only pushed in) -arrow-. Then

disconnect the cable plug.

NOTE:  The cable for the crankshaft pulse sender is installed between the cylinder block and the oil filter housing/engine support arm.

3. Remove crankshaft pulse sender by loosening the fastening screw -arrow-. Pull the crankshaft pulse sender out of the cylinder block. Carefully pull

out the cable.
