Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Knock Sensors

Removing right knock sensor

1. Pull off design cover.

2. Remove intake manifold.
3. Pull off the connector of the right knock sensor (under exhaust manifold) at the front of the cylinder head cover and expose socket -A, B and E in

bottom figure-.

4. Unscrew the right knock sensor (under exhaust manifold). To do this, loosen the fastening screw -arrow- and remove knock sensor. Unclip cable.

Remove knock sensor.
