Crimping samples are to be prepared before beginning work.

7. Crimp stripped line ends of the connection point using crimping sleeves and the hand crimping pliers from the Repair kit for Cayenne harnesses

8. Cut off all other corroded connection points, one after another, strip off the insulation and crimp them again.
9. Insulate all connection points with a suitable shrink-fit hose -A-and carefully shrink them using the hot-air blower with special nozzle

(recommended accessories for the repair kit for harnesses) so that they are watertight.

10. Route main wire harness and fasten with four new tie-wraps. Shorten tie-wraps.

11. Close cover of main wire harness -B-.

12. Fold back carpeted floor-A-on the right side at the entrance.
13. If necessary after moisture leakage, place the vehicle in the drying cabin for 3 - 4 hours (overnight if necessary) at a temperature of approx. 60

degrees C.

14. Fold back carpeted floor and sound absorber -A-in the front right footwell.
