Note: If the cams on cylinder 1 are not positioned as shown, check whether the crankshaft needs to be turned through another turn (360°)
2. Make sure that the cams for the 1st cylinder and 5th cylinder are positioned as shown (cylinder 1 at ignition TDC) -see figure- and View shows
position of cams on cylinder 5.
3. Insert fixing pin 9595/1 into the relevant groove in the timing chain housing cover through the bore provided in the crankshaft wheel -see figure-.
4. Remove chain tensioner -arrow-.
