Removing oil-water heat exchanger

If a fault in the oil-water heat exchanger has caused oil and coolant to mix, the oil circuit should be checked to see if there is coolant in the engine
or, if necessary, be cleaned.

If oil has entered the coolant circuit, this is to be cleaned after repair.
1. Release coolant hoses from oil/water heat exchanger. To do this, release the two spring-band clamps and pull the lines upwards.
2. Release the 4 fastening screws on the heat exchanger and pull the heat exchanger down and off. During this process, both engine oil and coolant
will leak out. Collect leaking liquids and dispose of in accordance with legal requirements.

1. Replace the 2 sealing rings of the oil circuit. When doing this, pay attention to the lugs on the sealing ring. Subsequently, push the oil-water heat
exchanger from underneath against the bracket and tighten the 4 fastening screws. Tightening torque: 7.5 ft-lb.
