4. Remove the filter element. Remove the filter downwards and dispose of in accordance with legal requirements.

Information: 
 

Do not remove the O-ring with a sharp object.

The oil filter housing contains a cutout via which the O-ring can be removed.

5. Clean the oil filter housing and replace the O-ring seal. Clean the oil filter housing thoroughly inside and outside and replace the O-ring. Carefully

lever off the O-ring. The oil filter housing must not be damaged during this procedure.

6. Install the filter element.

Information: 
 

Lightly oil the O-ring when installing the oil filter housing.

7. Install the oil filter housing and tighten using special tool oil filter spanner 9204.  - Tightening torque: 19 ftlb. Lightly oil the O-ring when doing

this.

8. Fit engine guard. 
9. Fill engine oil, start engine and check oil level.
