Quarter Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Side Window Seal

Preliminary work

1. Remove side window. Refer to Removing and installing side window on "removing"

Removing side window seal

1. Drill out rivets -2- from the integrated sheetmetal strip of the seal for the side window -1- using a 4.1 mm drill bit.

2. Unclip side window seal -1- and remove.

Installing side window seal

1. Position seal for side window -1- on the centering hole and rivet down with the rivets -2-, starting from the top right.

2. Clip grommet -3- into the side panel and then press side window seal -3- into the side panel.

Subsequent work

1. Install side window. Refer to Removing and installing side window on "installing"
