For 1985-1987 Models: Remove the pressure cap from the coolant bottle. For 1 .4L engine vehicles see Fig. 2. For 1.7L and 2.0L engine vehicles,
see Fig. 3

Start the engine and verify that the bleeder tee is allowing coolant to flow into the remote fill or the coolant bottle.

If no flow exists remove the small hose from the bleeder tee and clean out the orifice. Reinstall the hose.  Restart the engine and verify that there is
coolant flow through the bleeder tee.

Reinstall the pressure cap.

B.  Disconnect Heater Hoses

With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the battery negative cable.
