Check position of the crankshaft sprocket timing mark (13). The mark should be aligned with the oil pan bolt (14) just below the sprocket (Fig. 7).

Paint timing reference marks on the camshaft belt as follows:
a.
Using white paint, place a mark (15) on the belt in line with the timing mark (16) on the cam sprocket (Fig. 8). Then write the word "cam"
next to the painted mark with grease pencil.
