Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
Renix Throttle Body Fuel Injection (TBFI), Late Type System
1.
Disconnect electrical connector from oxygen sensor.
2.
Remove sensor from exhaust pipe adapter.
3.
Clean threads in adapter.
4.
Apply suitable antiseize sealer to threads of oxygen sensor being extremely careful not to get sealer on any other part of sensor.
5.
Hand start sensor in exhaust pipe adapter.
6.
Torque sensor to 20-25 ft. lbs.
7.
Connect electrical connector. Do not push rubber boot down on sensor body beyond .5 in. from base.
