Remove air filter.
2.
Remove injector wire connector.
3.
Remove injector retainer clip screws.
4.
Remove injector retainer clip (1), Fig. 12.
5.
Using suitable pliers, gently grasp center collar of injector between electrical terminals and carefully remove injector (2) with a twisting/lifting
motion.
6.
Discard upper (3) and lower (4) O-rings. Note that back-up ring (5) fits over upper O-ring.
7.
Reverse procedure to install, using new lubricated O-rings. Ensure that injector nozzle is centered in lower housing bore.
