Connect tachometer between terminals D1-1 and D1-3.

Connect fuel pressure gauge to fuel body pressure test fitting.
4.
Start engine and accelerate to approximately 2000 RPM.
5.
Turn adjustment screw on bottom of regulator to obtain pressure of 14.5 psi. Turning screw inward increases pressure and turning screw outward
decreases pressure.
6.
Turn ignition off.
7.
Disconnect tachometer.
8.
Disconnect fuel pressure gauge and install cap on test fitting.
9.
Install air filter.
WIDE OPEN THROTTLE SWITCH
It is only necessary to adjust the wide open throttle after replacement to establish the initial position of switch.
1.
Remove throttle body assembly.
2.
Loosen two WOT to bracket retaining screws.
3.
Open throttle to wide open position.
4.
Attach alignment gauge J-26701 or equivalent on flat surface of throttle lever.
5.
Rotate degree scale of gauge until 15° mark is aligned with pointer.
6.
Adjust bubble until it is centered.
7.
Rotate degree scale to align 0° with pointer.
8.
Close throttle slightly to center bubble on gauge. Throttle is now at 15° before wide open throttle position.
9.
Position WOT lever on throttle cam so that switch plunger is just closed at 15° before wide open throttle position.
10.
Tighten WOT retaining screws.
11.
Remove gauge.
