Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair

Operating Cylinder

REMOVAL

1. Remove the intercooler.
2. Remove the clutch hose from operating cylinder.

Important: Cover the hose joint to prevent clutch fluid from flowing out.

(A) Clutch hose
(B) Operating cylinder

3. Remove the operating cylinder from transmission.

INSTALLATION

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

Before installing the operating cylinder, apply grease (SUNLIGHT 2: Part No. 32005009) to contact point of the release lever and
operating cylinder.

Bleed air with the clutch hose installed to the operating cylinder before installing the operating cylinder to vehicle.

Tightening torque:
T1: .............................................................................................................................................................................. 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft. lbs.)
T2: .............................................................................................................................................................................. 37 Nm (3.8 kgf-m, 27.5 ft. lbs.)
