Limited slip differential, seal

To remove

1. Drain the oil from the limited slip differential and fit the drain plug with a new seal.

Tightening torque 25 Nm (18.4 ft. lbs.)

2. Remove Complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential.
3. Seal the drive shaft holes in the limited slip differential and clean the housing.

Important: Take care to ensure that the differential clutch control module and differential brake valve are not damaged.

4. Place the unit on its side.
5. Remove the bolts. (A)

6. Remove the right-hand limited slip differential housing (B).
