Note
The programming must be started at the latest 5 minutes after the telematics unit has been restarted.
4.
Set the windscreen wiper lever to "position 0" (rest position).
5.
Turn the ignition key to ON.
6.
Wait to connect Genesis until the message "Checking..." clears from SID.
7.
Connect Genesis to the car's data link connector within 5 minutes after the telematics unit has been restarted.
Note
Genesis is a fully automatic programming tool used for SPS programming and for certain other parameters in several of the car's control
modules. The programming starts automatically when Genesis is connected to the data link connector.
8.
Check the status of the lamps and carry out the correct procedure in accordance with the tables below.
Note
If the programming does not start when Genesis is connected to the data link connector, turn the ignition key to OFF, disconnect Genesis and
restart from step 3.
