OnStar Control Panel (469)

Main task

The OnStar control panel is located in the dashboard to the left beneath the ACC panel. It contains three buttons and an indicator lamp. The control
panel's 6-pin connector is connected to the OnStar control module via the car's wiring harness.

Keypad:

OnStar Service button - used to contact the OnStar Call Center

Emergency button - used in the event of an emergency to contact the OnStar Call Center

^

Handset - used to end a phone call or to answer a call from the OnStar Call Center.The button is also used for Personal Calling Services.

Indicator lamp:

Steady green light - OnStar system is active.

Flashing green light - call in progress.

^

Steady red light - system is not working properly.

^

Flashing red light - selected service is active, but there is a fault in the system.
