Changing the Transmission Fluid

Changing The Transmission Fluid 

1. Place the car on a lift. Make sure it is as level as possible. Engage P and apply the handbrake. If using a ramp, chock the wheels. Connect an

exhaust extractor.

Warning: The oil can be very hot if the car was recently driven. Risk of burn injuries. 

2. Remove the lower engine cover and place a receptacle under the car. Drain the transmission fluid through the drain plug. Remove the dipstick

tube's plug first to allow access with an Allen key.

3. Fit the drain Plug and a new seal. Fit the level plug. Use protective gloves.

Tightening torque, drain plug 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
