8. Fit the belt end fitting to the seat.

Tightening torque 47 Nm (35 lbf ft)

9. Cars with PPS: Insert the cable and plug in the belt force sensor connector.

10. Fold back the padding and upholstery and fit the strips to the seat.
11. Fit sleeves and head restraint.
12. Fit the lower rear cover.
13. Electric seat: Fit the outer side cover.

Manual seat: Fit the outer side cover.

14. Fit the backrest cover.
15. Fold back the backrest and reset the seat.
16. Check the operation of the seat belt.
17. Connect the battery.
18. Check using the diagnostic tool as follows:

Connect the diagnostic tool to the data link connector under the dashboard.
Delete any fault codes.
Turn the ignition OFF and then ON again. Wait at least 1 minute with the ignition on.
Check whether a diagnostic trouble code is shown:

If a diagnostic trouble code is shown:
Carry out fault diagnosis according to the instructions under respective trouble codes.

If a diagnostic trouble code is not shown:
The assembly was successful. Disconnect the diagnostic tool.

19. Carry out Measures after disconnecting the battery.
