Important: Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight
apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection.
12. Lift off the control module from the shaft and the connector. Lift first straight up so the connector in the gearbox is not damaged. Then turn the
control module so that it comes loose from the shaft.
To fit
1. Fit the control module. Press down the control module carefully against the shaft and the connector in the gearbox. The inner part of the control
module may need to be turned slightly to fit the shaft. Fit the bolts. Connect and lock the connector.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
