Sound Insulation
In addition to the sound insulation panels in the body, a special foam sound insulator is used in front of the rear wheel housings and in the upper part of
the C-pillars.
Sound insulation is also provided in the lower part of the B-pillars and in the A-pillars.
From the beginning, the foam material is pressed flat and shaped for the cavity into which it will be mounted. In production, the material swells to fill the
cavity during surface treatment at a temperature of approximately 180 degrees C.
