Connect the cable terminals.

Carefully press the cable terminals into the unit to ensure that they do not make contact with the boot lid.

7.

Fit the boot lid handle unit in accordance with WIS - 8. Body - Doors and locks - Adjustment/Replacement - Bootlid opening handle.

Replace the luggage compartment electrical centre (REC), see "Electrical centre, luggage compartment (REC)", replacement below.

To remove:

Fuse box - Fault diagnosis, general - Procedures before dismantling the control module.

Remove the battery cover.

Detach the battery negative cable.

3.

Open the left-hand side hatch in the luggage compartment.
