Increased User Programming

The ACC control module can also be programmed by the user so that certain automatic functions are changed. These are stored so that the control
module selects these until they are cancelled. Programming as well as cancellation of selections is done by pressing ECON or electrically heated rear
window for more than 1.2 seconds. In both cases, selections are acknowledged by the selected function symbol flashing 4 times and an explaining text is
displayed on the SID for 5 seconds.

The increased functions are explained below:

ECON

The function is selected automatically when the outside temperature is below 10 °C at the same time as the solar intensity is less than 351 W/m2, and is
restored when the temperature exceeds 13 °C and the solar intensity exceeds 351 W/m2.

NOTE:  The ACC control module does not accept an increasing outside temperature if the travel speed is under 30 km/h.

Adjusting

The ACC unit can be programmed to select ECON at other temperatures using the diagnostics tool.

Electrically heated rear window and door mirrors

The engagement time depends on outside temperature.
At 5 °C, the time is 4 minutes and at lower temperatures the time increases to max 10 minutes and that is achieved at an outside temperature lower than 
-10 °C.

NOTE: Experience shows that half of all ACC control modules that claims were made for during the warranty period were free of defects but
programmed by the user. It is therefore very important to explain the function to the customer.
