Fastening Eyes, ISOFIX (LATCH), CV

The fastening eyes for child seats must be changed if they become out of shape after a collision or if they have been damaged in any other way.

For changing the seat-belt buckle bracket (including centre fastening eye).

For changing the seat belt anchor plate.

To remove

1. Grind away the welds securing the outer fastening eyes.

Drill through the spot welds and remove the old attachments.

2. Apply a coat of primer to all the bare metal surfaces. Use Standox 1K Fullprimer. Apply a thin coat of anti-corrosion agent and allow it to

penetrate under the attachments after painting.
