Seatbelt Anchor Plate, Rear Seat, CV

The plate securing the seat-belt buckle in the rear seat must always be replaced when any of the rear seatbelts has been used in a collision.

1. Grind away the welds securing the seat-belt anchor plate.

2. Grind and smooth off the old welds.
3. Place the reinforcement over the anchor plate and screw in the bolts a few turns.
4. Weld the anchor plate in place.
5. Clean the welds.
6. Apply primer to the bare metal surfaces. Use Standox 1K Fullprimer. Apply finishing paint.
7. Apply Terotex 3000 anti-corrosion agent under the floor.
8. Fit the seat-belt buckle and reinforcement.
