"Engine Off" Time

The SID unit calculates the engine off time using bus information from MIU/EDC 15 "ENGINE STARTED", unit ON/OFF, and when the ignition (+15)
is turned OFF and then ON again. "ENGINE OFF TIME", unit minutes.
The information ENGINE OFF TIME, unit minutes (max. 255 minutes) is sent out on the bus.

Diesel cars are equipped with an auxiliary heater as standard. The programming and timer functions for the auxiliary heater are integrated in the SID
unit. A so called parking heater can be installed in petrol cars.
Fitting and operating instructions are supplied with the parking heater.
