Convertible Top Deck Lid Latch: Service and Repair
Microswitch Soft Top Cover Latch

Removing

The following describes how the right microswitch is removed. Left microswitch is removed using the same method.

Remove the rear side trim. See Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Rear Side Upholstery.

Remove the clip for the rear upholstery and remove the upholstery.

Remove the bolts securing the microswitch.

Unplug the connector and remove the microswitch.

Fitting

Fit the microswitch and tighten the bolts.

Plug in the connector.

Fit the rear upholstery.

Refit the rear side trim. See Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Rear Side Upholstery.

Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble code.
