Remove the bolts and remove the seal from the windscreen frame.

Fitting

Start to fit in both corners.

Tighten down the seal.

Fit the plugs.

Pull off the protective backing from the double-backed tape and start to fit the seal at the bottom of the A-pillar and continue upwards to the
corner.

Continue fitting from the middle of the windscreen top edge and out towards the edges. Use soapy water to facilitate fitting.

Check the fit against the front seal. Adjust the front seal if needed. See Adjusting the Windows and Seals.

Door Window Front Seal

Removing

Remove the door mirror.

Remove the door upholstery.

Remove the inner window seal.

Loosen the outer window seal at the front edge.

Remove the seal for the rear-view mirror mounting.

Fitting

Fasten the new seal at the point of the sheet metal flange. Use adhesive 30 08 075 3M Super Weatherstrip.

IMPORTANT

Wipe dry the window channel before starting to apply adhesive.

Press down the seal in the window channel.

Raise the window and pull down the seal so that it seals around the front edge of the window.
