Connect a jumper lead between pins 1 and 2 of the female connector.

The test lamp should light.

Is the function correct?

Check Brake Light Switch - II

Check Brake Light Switch

Depress the brake pedal.

Keep brake pedal depressed for about 5 seconds. CRUISE lamp should go on and then off again.
