If the fault persists, the control module must be changed.

It is important to ground yourself, by touching the engine for example, before handling a control module. Never touch the control module pins.

Brief acceleration should take place.

Inspect the wire and nylon tape between cruise control module and throttle body to make sure it is not entangled or jammed.
